Tanto with Gem Lock

Gem-lock Tanto: This blade features a hardwood sheath that matches the handle. The gem on the handle, a fire agate, is actually part of a lock mechanism. Pressing down on the stone releases the lock so the blade can be drawn from it's sheath. The 5 1/4" blade has a distinctive temper line and a reinforced armor-piercing tip. By removing the peg in the handle, the knife can be disassembled and cleaned.
Blade: hand forged 5160 with temper line
Handle: Benji wood, matches sheath
Fittings: Sterling silver and nickle silver
